Description

Paul B. Rothman, dean of the medical faculty and CEO of Johns Hopkins Medicine, invites you to the sixth annual School of Medicine Dean's Distinguished Mentoring Award Lecture. This year's recipient of the Distinguished Mentoring Award is Henry Brem, professor of neurosurgery and director of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and neurosurgeon-in-chief at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Brem will receive his award at the event, which will feature a keynote presentation delivered in his honor by Robert Langer, the David H. Koch Institute Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Langer's lecture is titled "From the Discovery of the First Angiogenesis Inhibitors to the Development of Controlled Drug Delivery Systems for Treating Nearly Any Disease: My Journey with Henry Brem."
