National Fellowships Program

Description

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study, and teaching opportunities in more than 140 countries. Fulbright grants enable you to develop a wide range of academic fields, interests, and skills, while spending an unforgettable year engaged in culture exchange.

Since 2010, nearly 170 students and alums from Johns Hopkins have been awarded Fulbright grants to study, do research, and teach English and American culture in 50 countries spanning the globe. Recent Fulbright winners from Johns Hopkins have taught English in Argentina, researched HIV-positive organ transplants in South Africa, and worked on a novel in South Korea, among many more projects on six continents.

At this information session, Johns Hopkins National Fellowships Program staff will provide an overview of the Fulbright program and application process. You'll hear from previous Johns Hopkins grantees as well.

This general information session is geared toward undergraduates, grad students, and alumni applying to the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) or Study/Research (SR) Programs for the 2022-2033 award year.
