HRH Lunch & Learn: Plastic Bags into Plarn

Join Homewood Recycling's Hop Reuse Hub team for a fun, two-part Lunch & Learn series this spring and learn how to use plastic bags to make a reusable produce bag.

This is a two-part event. During the first lunchtime event on March 26, attendees will learn how to use disposable plastic bags to make plarn (aka plastic yarn). During the second lunchtime event on April 16, attendees will learn how to use the plarn to make a reusable produce bag. Attendees will need to bring 4-6 disposable plastic bags (any color) and a pair of scissors.

Both events will also include a chat about the importance of reduction and reusing as well as the Baltimore City plastic bag ban and extended producer responsibility (EPR).
