The Third Annual Conference on Civil–Military Relations is hosted by the School of Advanced International Studies Merrill Center and Duke University's Program in American Grand Strategy, with support from the America in the World Consortium.

This conference will link past, current, and future civilian and military leaders to discuss challenges and concepts for building sustainable trust in American civil–military relations.

This conference seeks to establish a common understanding of what sustainable trust looks like in American civil–military relations; develop and foster relationships among past, current, and future civilian and military leaders; and highlight the voices of students.
