Third Thursdays with the ICTR Lecture Series: Trial Innovation Unit

Description

The next lecture of the Third Thursdays with the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) Lecture Series focuses on the Trial Innovation Unit (TIU). The TIU aims to improve the efficiency of trial implementation and to provide opportunities for trial innovation.

By integrating existing ICTR resources and personnel, the TIU supports the development of:

• Single-site trials with potential for multi-center expansion
• Trial Innovation Network (TIN) assigned multi-center trials & multi-center trials being prepared for TIN submission
• Investigators with underdeveloped protocols interested in TIN support

Speakers Dan Hanley and Charles Flexner will discuss the organization of the TIU, resources available, and how to request TIU assistance.
