Description

Lynanne Lewis, executive assistant to the chief financial officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, will give a talk entitled "The Emotional Intelligence Role in Enhancing your Performance" for the Johns Hopkins Bayview branch of the International Association of Administrative Professionals.

Emotional intelligence has been proven to have equal importance as your intellect in your performance and success. This emotional intelligence session will be an exploration into recognizing the use of your emotions in the workplace, to personally empower yourself and increase your ability to relate well with others along with achieving your goals. The session will also heighten your awareness and insight into your actions, your feelings, and the effect on those around you. Understand the use of emotional intelligence to adjust your perspective and attitude, to build stronger working relationships and manage difficult situations more effectively.
