Description

Join Lambda Epsilon Mu in welcoming Alfredo Quinones-Hinojosa, a neurosurgeon, author, and researcher. Being born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, he identifies as Latinx and continues to push through the minority barriers in everyday life and high professions.

Quinones-Hinojosa is the chair of the Department of Neurological Surgery at Mayo Clinic's campus in Florida where he is recognized with the distinction of a named professorship, the William J. and Charles H. Mayo Professorship.
