Description

Join the Johns Hopkins Alliance for a Healthier World to learn about the high demand for gender data during COVID-19 and to see the emergent results from a recent study on the social, economic, and gendered impacts of the pandemic on Nairobi youth.

A panel discussion among gender experts in Nairobi will address how COVID-19 has affected young people, their current challenges and needs, and how we can empower youth and help them recover. Nairobian youth will also share their personal stories from the pandemic.

This event is hosted by the Johns Hopkins Alliance for a Healthier World in conjunction with Performance Monitoring for Action - Gender; International Centre for Reproductive Health - Kenya; Stoop Storytelling; Kenyatta University; Johns Hopkins Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health; Johns Hopkins Center for Women's Health, Sex, and Gender Research; and Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.
