Third Thursdays with the ICTR Lecture Series: Anne Le

Description

Anne Le, associate professor and director of the metabolomics facility, will present on the Biomarker Development Metabolomics Unit for Third Thursdays with the Institute for Clinical & Translational Research Lecture Series. The unit provides customized metabolic approaches ranging from simple assays to high-throughput approaches.

Le will discuss:

• Metabolomics resources available on campus
• Feasibility and how to leverage metabolomics technologies for basic, translational and clinical research projects
• Metabolomic approaches based on specific research projects/questions, ranging from targeted metabolomics to high-throughput approaches (such as global metabolic profiling and stable isotope-13C and 15N-labeling) on a wide variety of sample types
