Description

Learn about the intersection of environmental justice, public health, and waste from researchers working on this issue. Johns Hopkins alum Yukyan Lam, public health scientist at the Natural Resource Defense Council, and Sacoby Wilson, associate professor at the MD Institute for Applied Environmental Health at the University of Maryland, will highlight the impacts of environmental threats on health disparities as part of the Evenings with Environmentalists speaker series.

Hosted by Johns Hopkins University's Homewood Recycling Office and Office of Sustainability, Evenings with Environmentalists is a new, informal speaker series that addresses the impacts of important environmental issues.
