Melbourne Digital Photography Info Session
Description
Join this collaborative digital photography course with peers from Melbourne, Australia, this January. Johns Hopkins students will partner with students and faculty of the Photography Studies College (the number-one art college in Australia) in this three-credit virtual humanities course.
Students have the opportunity to perfect camera and post processing skills and learn from experts in the field of Photography while engaging in a cross-cultural exchange. Students from Johns Hopkins and the Photography Studies College will work on projects together that inform them about their respective countries as they get to know each other though creating a photo collage and an environmental portrait and participating in a group scavenger hunt. They will learn the fundamentals of photo criticism through lecture and discussion and will have a final digital exhibition at both schools.
No prior photography experience required. The deadline to apply for the program is Nov. 15.
