Description

Duy Pham, a policy analyst at the Center for Law and Social Policy, will give a talk entitled "Race, Intersectional Economic Justice, and Criminal Justice Reform" as a Digital Diversity Day.

The Digital Diversity Day is designed to engage students, faculty, and staff around race, identity development, and intersectionality through the framework of the Critical Race Theory. This event is hosted by the Office of Multicultural Affairs in partnership with Center for Student Success and the FLI Network.

Duy Pham is a policy analyst focused on the Center for Law and Social Policy's justice portfolio and sits on the youth team. His expertise includes adult and postsecondary education, career pathways, federal postsecondary policy, state aid and other financial supports, workforce development, racial equity, criminal justice, immigrant children and families. He works across the organization to drive CLASP's strategy around intersectional economic justice and criminal justice reform. His core areas of work include a focus on racial equity, adult and postsecondary education, workforce development, and reentry and reintegration pathways. Pham was previously a research assistant with CLASP's Postsecondary and Workforce Development team. Prior to joining CLASP, Pham was a public interest fellow at the Bell Policy Center in Denver, Colorado. He holds a bachelor's degree in international political economy from Colorado College and a master's degree in public policy from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown.
