Description

Johns Hopkins experts convene to discuss the likely implications of the 2020 election for public health policy, including what to expect in the U.S. Congress and federal health agencies.

Participants include:

  • Cybele Bjorklund, Vice President for Federal Strategy
  • Josh Sharfstein, Vice Dean for Public Health Practice and Community Engagement, and former Principal Deputy Commissioner for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration
  • Keshia Pollack Porter, Vice Dean for Faculty and Director of the Johns Hopkins Institute for Health and Social Policy
  • Tom Burke, Jacob I. and Irene B. Fabrikant Professor and Chair in Health Risk and Society and former Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Science Advisor and Deputy Assistant Administrator for Research and Development,

Colleen Barry, Fred and Julie Soper Professor and chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management, will moderate the discussion.
