Description

Evergreen Museum and Library's annual architecture and design lecture series concludes with an illustrated talk by Robert A. Baird, co-founder of Historical Arts and Casting, the firm that recently completed restoration work on the U.S. Capitol's Dome. Baird will discuss what it takes to restore the dome's 9 million pounds of cast iron after 159 years of service. A reception with the speaker will follow the talk. Lecture qualifies for AIA Continuing Education credit.
