Description

President Trump recently selected Mike Pompeo as secretary of state and John Bolton as national security adviser in the weeks approaching talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Pompeo and Bolton have made no secret of their preference for an attack on North Korea—what will this mean for a North Korean deal that is supposed to be, as Trump himself put it, "a very good one for the world"?

The John Quincy Adams Society invites you to join us in welcoming Doug Bandow to discuss the recent appointments to Trump's cabinet and what it means for the upcoming Trump-Kim meeting. A former special assistant to President Ronald Reagan, Bandow is currently a senior fellow at the Cato Institute and specializes in foreign policy and civil liberties. He has contributed to numerous leading publications, and has been a regular commentator on ABC, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and more.
