This tri-school event hosted by the Johns Hopkins schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health celebrates 50 years of JHU collaboration with the Fogarty International Center.

Roger Glass, director of the Fogarty International Center and associate director of international research at the NIH, will present a talk titled "Why Global Health Matters? New Insights for the 21st Century."

The event will also include a discussion panel of JHU faculty, Fogarty recipients, and their mentees. Participants include:

+Ellen MacKenzie, dean of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
+ Tom Quinn, director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health
+ Chris Beyrer, professor of public health and human rights at the Bloomberg School
+ Bob Bollinger, director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Clinical Global Health Education
+ Nancy Kass, vice provost for graduate and professional education and professor of bioethics and public health

A reception will be held in the JHU School of Nursing Carpenter Room from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
