Description

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in 20ll, 80% of pathogens transmitted through food were unspecified agents, causing uncertainty in pathogens that could potentially lead to consumer illness. In this seminar sponsored by the Institute for Computational Medicine, Jessye Talley, lecturer in the department of industrial & systems engineering at Morgan State University addresses the issue of food supply contamination through the application of compartmental models as interventions. Lunch will be served following the seminar.
