Description

Evergreen Museum & Library hosts a Museum After Hours reception for its 2017 artist-in-residence, Tony Auth (Maryland Institute College of Art, BFA Ceramics), who will lead a tour through his indoor/outdoor site specific installation "Melding Museum and City" at 6 p.m.

See a special one-night-only gathering of art cars, wander through Evergreen's first-floor historic rooms, discover rare Shakespeare materials drawn from the John Work Garrett Library, and enjoy light refreshments. Then head to the Evergreen Meadow to see "Love's Labor's Lost" under the stars by the Baltimore Shakespeare Factory. Museum After Hours guests will receive a voucher for one half-price general admission ticket ($10). Picnicking is welcome in the Meadow (bring short chairs, blankets & bug spray). 7:30 p.m. pre-show; 8 p.m. curtain.
