Looking for a rigorous, fresh, and fun academic program your child can attend next summer? Registration is open for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth's 2025 on-campus programs, and full-time JHU employees can receive 50% off their child's tuition.

CTY's three-week day and residential programs will take place on campuses across the U.S., including Johns Hopkins University and the Gilman School in Maryland; Dickinson College and Ursinus College in Pennsylvania; Loyola Marymount University, UC Santa Cruz, and Mirman School in California; Skidmore College and Speyer School in New York; and Roger Williams University in Rhode Island.

At CTY summer sites, academically advanced students in grades 2-12 spend three weeks forming a vibrant learning community and making lifelong friends. Courses are designed for kids and teens who enjoy rigorous, hands-on coursework, lively discussions, and a culture of curiosity and academic exploration. Students can dig deep and learn about subjects not always found in school, with courses such as Biotechnology, Crafting the Essay, Cloudy With a Chance of Science, Examining the Evidence, Exploring Ethics, Fiction and Poetry, Introduction to Astronomy, Inventions, and Number Theory.

Three-week programs begin June 22 and run through Aug. 8. The registration deadline is May 2, 2025.

Some highlights of the program this year:

  • Returning Discovery Sampler courses, which let students build math, science, and writing skills while exploring three topics over a three-week session.
  • Three commuter and seven residential locations in California, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.
  • A risk-free refund policy, which gives families flexibility to register now and receive a full tuition refund, minus the application fee, if they cancel their registration before March 1.

Visit the CTY website to explore courses and enroll.
