Help unlock the secrets of brain physiology

We are conducting a research study using MRI to understand how the brain regulates blood flow and physiology, with the goal of developing better tools for early detection of vascular dementia. Participation involves a safe, non-invasive 45-minute MRI scan. During the session, you will be asked to remain still and perform simple breathing tasks, including paced breathing, brief breath-holding, and a short period of breathing air with a very small, safe amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) to help us measure blood flow responses.

We are inviting healthy adults between 20 and 40 years old. Please avoid coffee, tea, alcohol, or smoking for at least two hours before the scan. Volunteers will receive $50 for their time and contribution to advancing brain health research.
