The SNF Agora Institute is now accepting applications for its 2025–26 Faculty Grants Program. The new, extended deadline is 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sunday, April 13.
The purpose of the SNF Agora Faculty Grants Program is to encourage and support the work of Johns Hopkins faculty—particularly faculty from the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences (KSAS), which aligns with SNF Agora's mission to strengthen global democracy through civic engagement, scholarship, and public dialogue.
Faculty may apply for funding to support a range of activities, including academic research, public convenings, policy briefings, and more. While most awards are typically under $5,000, the program may provide one larger grant of up to $20,000 annually.
Grant Term Projects should begin on or after July 1, 2025, and be completed by June 30, 2026.
Priority will be given to proposals from faculty in the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences. Faculty may submit one proposal per cycle, either individually or in collaboration with colleagues. Proposals may focus on new projects or seek support for ongoing work that directly advances the mission of SNF Agora.
