In this study, we will measure CFTR function in healthy controls, healthy cystic fibrosis (CF) carriers, and CF carriers with cystic fibrosis-like illness. What is involved? A five-minute nasal brushing performed at the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center (JHOC), a review of your medical history for CF-like illnesses, and collection of a saliva sample. You must be between 5 and 80 years old. Participants will be given a parking sticker and reimbursed for one meal.
