Quentin Tarantino

Robert Findling of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry discusses the legacy of Leo Kanner, who is credited with establishing child psychiatry as a distinct field while working at Johns Hopkins as founding director of the department that Findling now heads. 5 p.m., Zayed Auditorium in the Chevy Chase Conference Center, Sheikh Zayed Tower, East Baltimore campus.

A nighttime gala (June 8) and a daylong family festival and horse show (June 9) add up to the inaugural Pony Up for Pediatrics, a Children's Center fundraising effort that this year will benefit the Pediatric Liver Center and the Department of Child Life.
