Description

Johns Hopkins University students, faculty, and staff are invited to a screening of the new HBO movie "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks,", which debuts on the network on April 22. Based on the book by Rebecca Skloot, the movie provides a compelling look at Henrietta Lacks' story, her impact on medical science, and important bioethical issues.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A session led by James Page, interim vice provost and chief diversity officer for Johns Hopkins University, and Landon King, executive vice dean of the School of Medicine.
