Description

The 2017 Joshua Ringel Memorial Poetry Reading will feature Sherman Alexie and Robert Hershon.

Alexie is a poet, short story writer, novelist, and performer who has published 25 books and is the winner of a National Book Award. Hershon, the co-editor of Hanging Loose Press, has published 14 books of poetry.

The Joshua Ringel Memorial Fund memorializes Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth alumnus Joshua Ringel and his parents, Mel and Barbara, supporting a free annual poetry reading in Baltimore for both lovers of poetry, and those who wish to learn to love it as Ringel did. The series is administered by the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth.
