Public Health in Asia Symposium

Description

Johns Hopkins will host a symposium that seeks to provide a platform for undergraduate and graduate students from across the country to explore general public health issues in Asia.

This year's theme is "The price of progress: Public health challenges arising from an evolving Asia," which hopes to explore the ways in which rapid growth within the Asian region has given rise to unprecedented health threats. This symposium seeks to bring forth a holistic view of Asia's public health status through a representation of many different nations.

The event will consist of keynote presentations from professionals in the field of public health in Asia, as well as presentations from undergraduate and graduate students engaged in public health research in the Asian region. Visit https://phsa.jhu.edu for more information.
