Winter Wine at Evergreen

Description

Experience the best wine that Maryland has to offer in a small, exclusive and beautiful setting. Hosted by the Maryland Wineries Association, Winter Wine will showcase the best of the best, as noted by critical acclaim and by the evening's guest curators. Attendees will enjoy stationary and butler-passed waves of delicious and unique, and locally-sourced hors d'oeuvres throughout the evening. The reception will be accompanied by the classical sounds of Peabody Institute musicians. In addition to the Carriage House tasting, guests are invited to tour Evergreen Museum while sampling fine, limited-production Maryland sparkling wines. Museum staff will highlight the exception collections.

SCHEDULE: • Carriage House Pass (7:30–10 p.m.) Tasting starts at 7:30 p.m. Passed hors d'oeuvres throughout the evening. Over 40 wines will be available for sampling in Riedel stemware, and will be available for purchase by the bottle and case.

• Carriage House Pass + Sparkling Wine Reception (from 6:30-7:30 p.m.) / Limited availability In addition to the Carriage House Tasting, you are invited to tour Evergreen Museum & Library while sampling fine limited-production Maryland sparkling wines. Museum staff will highlight the exceptional collections.

Partial proceeds will be donated to the Evergreen Museum & Library in support of its ongoing historic preservation projects.
