Idea Lab voting is open through May 4

The ideas are in and the voting has begun. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to go to the Idea Lab online and vote for the proposals they think should receive funding in three areas. President Ron Daniels' Ten by Twenty Challenge draws inspiration from the second priority of the 10x2020 plan: individual excellence. The Diversity Leadership Council asked for proposals for its annual Diversity Innovation Grants. And the JHU Office of Sustainability is supporting the top environmental idea with its Eco-Smart Acorn Grant.

Online voting will take place April 26 through May 4. Funding will go to the teams that receive the most votes to implement their proposals, and additional projects to receive funding will be chosen by a committee. Parameters specific to each of the challenges are outlined on the website.
